Hamid Dabashi, Professor of Iranian Studies and Comparative Literature at Columbia University, New York. He is the author of such books as Iran: A People Interrupted (New York: New Press, 2007) and Masters & Masterpieces of Iranian Cinema (Washington DC: Mage Publishers, 2007). He is a collaborator in the Bahman Jalali catalogue (Barcelona: Fundació Antoni Tąpies, 2007).
